driving machine!!!
folks i'm gonna be honest with you... I am a driving machine!!! it is now 4:41 est and I have been driving for the past 7 hours and i refuse to give up my driving throne until i am safe and sound it chattanooga tn. many of you may ask how does one drive through all hours of the morning without growing weary. the answer? the excitement of seeing my beautiful wife. just to let you know what the other guys are up to right now, paul is typing this and rolling his eyes telling me how mushy i am, marty is stuffing his face full of pimento cheese sandwiches while griping over a speeding ticket he got earlier today in va :) and chris is snoring soundly in the back of our luxurious econo line van. by the way we had a rockin' concert in moyock, nc tonight. we are looking forward to doing it all over again at the crabb jam in charlotte, friday night. while you all sleep, we drive on!

Hope you guys made it home OK. I really enjoyed the concert Saturday night and meeting you all. I guess Chris won't have fond memories of VA since the ticket....did he really get one?...or were you teasing.

Seven hours? That's nothing. I used to drive from Bethlehem, PA all the way to Odon, IN (southeastern corner of PA to southern IN) all by myself. It was a 12 hour drive, but being the great driver I am, I shortened the time by an hour.

These little insights are quite entertaining! I have an idea for your next DVD (hint, hint, hint!!). You really should include some behind the scenes footage: driving, playing putt-putt, goofing off backstage, etc. It would surely give all your fans a good laugh!!

Hi guys!! Matt you are a mush mush but most of us wives don't get that so keep on....thou your wife may blush a little it does her good! I can't beleive that the heat hasn't been turned up to the max on Paul for not getting hitched yet!! Paul good luck buddy your the only one left. Marty I can't beleive you would mark on Matt's face with a marker how dare you! hahahha that would have been a funny battle thou I'll admit! Matt I can't beleive that you forget your clothes so much! Leave them on the van. And to think when I seen you in SC that you probably had on the other guys clothes, I wish I would have known I would have giggled at you the whole service. Well I'll leave you alone now but Guys this is the greatest idea yet. We all love it and read it daily. Who came up with this Genius idea anyways. Now don't all jump at I did I did! We give you all credit! Loves!!
Oh no! Did Marty really get a ticket? Bless his heart. :) What I heard of the concert in Moyock was great. I have to tell ya though...on the way there the verses I read that morning really applied... It's from Psalms and goes something like, "...the Lord on high is mightier than the noise of many waters." I saw a lotttt of water that day. Hehe.

My best driving record was from PA to Kansas. I wasn't convinced before I left that I'd make it the whole way but it's amazing what you can do if you have no other choice:) 22 hours of solid driving time alone. My mom almost freaked out at the thought of me going that far alone but I had no problems.
The unfortunate thing there was that while trying to make some time on the flat Kansas roads (no traffic might I add with the exception of one lone cop:)) I got stopped twice in the same morning. I was paranoid the remainder of the trip and felt like I had to drive BELOW the speed limit:)
